Front Desk Management Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff courteously
Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate departmentsSchedule and confirm appointments2 Patient Registration Collect patient information (personal, insurance, medical history)Enter data accurately into hospital management softwareIssue patient ID numbers or registration cards3 Appointment Handling Manage appointment calendars for doctors and diagnostic servicesCoordinate walk-ins and emergency casesNotify departments of delays or changes4 Billing and Payments Handle patient billing, co-pays, and paymentsGenerate receipts and assist with insurance claims documentation5 Coordination and Communication Coordinate between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and labsEnsure patients are directed to the correct departments or rooms6 Record Keeping and Documentation Maintain accurate patient records and appointment logs Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies7 Customer Service Resolve patient concerns or complaints courteouslyProvide information about hospital services, visiting hours, etc8 Administrative Support Manage incoming/outgoing mail or courierMaintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
