Frontera Health is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dynamic ABA practice in Las Cruces, NM. In this role, you will provide a warm and professional environment for families and clients while supporting our administrative team with a variety of front desk and clerical responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered setting and enjoys balancing administrative and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Reception & Front Desk Operations
- Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Manage all front desk activities, including answering phone calls, routing inquiries, and addressing immediate concerns from parents or guardians.
- Provide basic information about services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby and front desk area.
Administrative Support
- Open and distribute incoming mail and packages; verify contents against packing slips and update inventory.
- Maintain adequate front desk supplies and restock as needed.
- Make copies, create documents, and perform general administrative duties.
- Release medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Update the clinic directory as needed.
Operational Support
- Assist with client referrals, intake packets, and consents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support clinic needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role (healthcare setting a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar) and comfort with office technology (copiers, phone systems, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and client confidentiality requirements.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

- This is a full-time, in-center position, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
