React Developer Job Description

Role Overview

We’re an AI lab that cooks up fresh, intelligent web apps. We need a React developer who’s happy turning wild ideas and wireframes into living, breathing products. If you enjoy building slick UIs and tinkering with the latest AI SDKs, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build Friendly Interfaces – Use React (components, hooks, the whole toolkit) to craft fast, responsive pages that feel great on any screen.
• Plug In the AI Magic – Connect our apps to AI APIs and SDKs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, you name it) so users get smart results in seconds.
• Reuse, Recycle, Repeat – Create modular components we can drop into future projects without starting from scratch.
• Team Up – Pair with designers, product folks, and backend engineers to ship features quickly and keep quality high.
• Speed Matters – Hunt down slow code and polish performance until everything zips along.
• Code with a Co‑Pilot – Use AI tools (your own fine‑tuned GPTs, Copilot, MCP‑style agents, etc.) to write, refactor, and test code faster.
• Stay Current – Keep an eye on new React features, state‑management tricks, and the next wave of AI frameworks—and share what you learn.

Must‑Have Skills

• Solid JavaScript (ES6+) and modern React know‑how.
• Comfortable with state management (Redux, Zustand, or your favorite flavor).
• REST (or GraphQL) API integration, plus axios/fetch muscle memory.
• Git habits that keep history clean and teammates happy.
• Basic testing chops—Jest or similar—so bugs get caught early.
• Responsive design sense: Flexbox, CSS Grid, and a knack for “it just works” across devices.
• Familiarity with build tools (Vite/Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn) to keep bundles lean.

Bonus Points

• TypeScript for safer, self‑documenting code.
• Next.js or another SSR/SSG framework experience.
• CI/CD know‑how to push code from commit to prod without drama.
• Hands‑on time with agent frameworks (think MCP‑style multi‑agent systems) or open‑source orchestration tools.
• Any AI side projects—show us a bot, an auto‑tester, or anything you’ve built with LLMs.
