React Native + iOS Developer

Primary Job Title:

Location:

• Design, implement and ship high-quality React Native features with native iOS integrations that meet product and performance targets.
• Develop and maintain native iOS modules (Swift / Objective‑C) and bridge them to React Native when platform-level APIs are required.
• Optimize app performance—profiling CPU, memory, and startup time; reduce jank and improve rendering, and implement offline/caching strategies.
• Own build, release and App Store submission processes including provisioning, code signing, and Fastlane automation to ensure reliable deployments.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and follow Git-centered workflows with thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA and backend teams to translate requirements into robust, maintainable mobile solutions on-site.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native (production apps) and native iOS development (Swift or Objective‑C).
• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and common mobile state/architecture patterns (Redux, Context, hooks).
• Experience building native modules and bridging iOS APIs into React Native apps.
• Proven ability to profile and optimize mobile performance, memory, and startup times using Xcode Instruments and RN tooling.
• Practical knowledge of App Store submission, provisioning, code signing and release automation (Fastlane or equivalent).
• Strong engineering fundamentals: Git workflow, automated testing, CI/CD and collaborative code reviews.
  

Preferred

• Exposure to Android/React Native Android internals and cross-platform parity work.
• Familiarity with GraphQL / REST APIs, offline-first patterns, CodePush/OTA update strategies and analytics/crash tools (Sentry, Firebase).
• Experience mentoring peers, improving mobile engineering practices, and contributing to architecture decisions.
