Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an R&D Manager located in Kolkata. The R&D Manager will oversee research and development projects to drive product innovation and improve existing seating solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team of skilled professionals, leading research initiatives, and coordinating project timelines. The role also involves ensuring the alignment of R&D activities with company objectives while maintaining a high standard of quality, ergonomics, and safety in product development. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and the ability to conduct detailed research for innovative solutions
• Experience in Team Management and Team Leadership skills to effectively guide a dynamic team
• Strong Project Management skills to ensure timely delivery of milestones and successful project execution
• Proven ability to work on cross-functional projects and align R&D objectives with company goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented execution
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, or related field
• Prior experience in the manufacturing, automotive, or related industries is a plus
