Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate and competitive quotations for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures based on customer requirements, technical specifications, and project data. The role involves understanding client needs, interpreting architectural and structural drawings, and coordinating with design and procurement teams to estimate material, labor, and manufacturing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for PEB structures based on client inputs and tender documents.
• Perform pricing calculations for steel, sheeting, accessories, insulation, erection, and transportation.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams for technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals and tender documents.
• Ensure compliance with company pricing strategy, profit margins, and cost control measures.
• Communicate with clients and sales teams to clarify technical details and align proposals with customer expectations.
• Revise and update quotations as per client revisions or internal review.
• Maintain a quotation database and track bid status.
• Assist in value engineering and optimization of steel usage to reduce cost while maintaining design integrity.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of PEB systems, structural steel, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with estimation and costing software/tools (e.g., Staad Pro, Tekla, MBS is a plus).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Additional certification or experience in PEB or structural steel fabrication is preferred.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation or quotation within the PEB or structural steel industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
