The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD (and optionally Tekla Structures) and have a solid understanding of PEB components, standards, and fabrication details. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D drawings for PEB structures including fabrication drawings , erection drawings , and shop drawings . Convert design sketches and engineering concepts into clear and accurate CAD drawings. Draft layouts for main frames, secondary members, bracings, cladding, mezzanine floors , etc. Generate bill of materials (BOM) and coordinate with the engineering team to ensure drawing accuracy. Review and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or fabricators. Ensure compliance with company and industry drafting standards and specifications. Maintain and organize drawing records, revision logs, and drawing registers. Coordinate with the modeling or detailing team to resolve design/drafting discrepancies. Assist in checking and quality control of final drawings before submission or release for fabrication. Requirements: Diploma or ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Drafting or equivalent. 1–5 years of experience as a draughtsman in PEB or structural steel industry. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting). Knowledge of PEB components and basic understanding of structural behavior. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Good attention to detail, accuracy, and drafting standards. Basic knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
