Job Summary:

We are seeking a Draughtsman with experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) to create detailed fabrication and erection drawings based on engineering and architectural inputs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD (and optionally Tekla Structures) and have a solid understanding of PEB components, standards, and fabrication details.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for PEB structures including fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.
• Convert design sketches and engineering concepts into clear and accurate CAD drawings.
• Draft layouts for main frames, secondary members, bracings, cladding, mezzanine floors, etc.
• Generate bill of materials (BOM) and coordinate with the engineering team to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or fabricators.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry drafting standards and specifications.
• Maintain and organize drawing records, revision logs, and drawing registers.
• Coordinate with the modeling or detailing team to resolve design/drafting discrepancies.
• Assist in checking and quality control of final drawings before submission or release for fabrication.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Drafting or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience as a draughtsman in PEB or structural steel industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• Knowledge of PEB components and basic understanding of structural behavior.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and drafting standards.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
