Quality Shift incharge

As a Mechanical/Production Diploma holder, you will be responsible for planning and managing a team of 45-50 workmen and 5-6 supervisors in the weld body shop. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing issues and implementing countermeasures to enhance Safety, Quality, and Productivity - Administrative control of the team, including Manpower Management, Training, and Skill Upgradation - Achieving Production & Quality targets and implementing Loss Recovery strategies - Hands-on experience in Line operations, Part loading Sequence, and Line Data management - Conducting Efficiency analysis and driving continuous Improvement through KAIZEN - Training new supervisors and workmen - Conducting Defect analysis and implementing countermeasures - Achieving Safety, Production & Quality cost (KPI) targets - Planning for Emergency situations and loss recovery - Optimizing direct and indirect consumables consumption In terms of Functional/Technical requirements, you should have: - In-depth knowledge of welding jigs, Safety Checks, and Quality checks - Familiarity with spot welding process and parameter control - Proficiency in Robot teaching/programming of Fanuc and Kawasaki robots - Understanding of prevailing and latest quality systems for maintaining weld body quality - Knowledge of body accuracy analysis, body fit, and finish - Detailed understanding of Door line and white body line processes - Hands-on experience in Safety, Production & Quality cost (KPI) Target Achievement - Proficiency in Line operations, Part loading Sequence, and Line Data management - Experience in Efficiency analysis and continuous Improvement (KAIZEN) On the Behavioral side, you are expected to demonstrate: - Target orientation - Customer orientation - Good analytical skills - Excellent Communication & presentation skills - Flexibility - Team player attitude - Strong networking skills Please note that this company values individuals who are customer-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have excellent communication abilities.
