The Quality Nurse will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to patients by monitoring and improving nursing practices within the hospital. This role involves evaluating clinical outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. The Quality Nurse will collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to promote best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of patient care and nursing practices to assess compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to develop and implement quality improvement programs. - Analyze data related to patient outcomes and nursing performance to identify areas for improvement. - Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on quality standards and best practices. - Participate in the development and review of clinical protocols and guidelines. - Facilitate patient safety initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols. - Prepare reports on quality metrics and present findings to management and clinical teams. - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss quality-related issues and improvements. Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of nursing practices and healthcare quality management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. - Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
