Quality Leader/ Quality Assurance

Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) – Garment Industry
Location: Chennai
Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) professional to oversee quality control processes in the garment manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of garment production, quality standards, and compliance, ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inline, midline, and final inspections for all production stages.
• Monitor quality control systems and ensure adherence to buyer specifications and standards.
• Identify defects and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain quality reports and documentation for all audits and inspections.
• Train and guide production teams on quality procedures, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and buyer requirements.
• Handle audits (buyer audits, third-party inspections) and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textiles, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in garment manufacturing (knits/woven).
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric quality, trims, and finishing standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Hands-on experience with AQL standards and quality audit processes.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to lead QA teams and coordinate with other departments.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
