Quality Inspector

Job Title: Inspection Professional – India (Manager/Senior/Executive Levels)Department: Inspection Services / Technical Services Delivery Location: India (Travel across regions as required) Job Overview:We are seeking motivated and skilled professionals in Inspection Services, ranging from Inspector to Senior Inspector and Inspection Manager roles. The successful candidates will contribute to the inspection of renewable energy equipment (solar modules, wind turbines, energy storage systems, and inverters) at various stages of production and delivery. Depending on the level, responsibilities range from executing inspections to leading regional operations and managing client relationships. Key Responsibilities:Core Duties (All Levels): Conduct pre-dispatch and post-dispatch inspections (factory acceptance, pre-shipment, loading/unloading). Follow the inspection checklist and standards after project-specific training. Apply the 5M methodology to validate site readiness. Witness manufacturing processes and validate test measurements. Document and report inspection findings and recommend improvements. Coordinate with the Project Manager and maintain proper reporting formats. Additional Duties (Senior & Manager Levels): Coordinate and lead inspection teams as per the defined schedule. Analyze improvement plans with on-site stakeholders. Propose enhancements to inspection methodology and supplier practices. Oversee inspection service quality and ensure compliance with KPIs and industry standards. Engage in after-sales technical support, report reviews, and digital tool integration. Management-Level Responsibilities (Inspection Manager): Develop and implement regional operational strategies aligned with global objectives. Manage inspection resources, staff qualification, and training programs. Lead customer engagement and manage performance reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across the region. Support data-driven initiatives and digital process improvements. Ensure strict health, safety, impartiality, and confidentiality compliance. Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering. Professional Certifications: Preferred – ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, PMP, or equivalent. Experience: Inspector: 3+ years in factory inspection or renewable energy QC. Senior Inspector: 5+ years in QC and technical roles, 3+ years management. Manager: 5+ years in inspection services with 2+ years in a managerial capacity. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of inspection processes, QA/QC standards, and technical documentation. Ability to interpret drawings and test procedures accurately. Familiarity with solar, wind, and BESS technologies. Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and digital reporting tools. Soft Skills: High ethical standards, excellent communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
