Designation: Quality Supervisor

Reporting To: Quality Manager / Production Head

Position Summary:

The Quality Supervisor will oversee quality control activities in production, ensure adherence to specifications and standards, reduce rejection rates, and drive continuous improvement. The role includes monitoring processes, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final inspection of rubber molded products.

• Ensure dimensional and visual checks as per drawings and control plans.

• Verify raw material incoming quality with proper testing.

• Monitor process parameters and ensure operator compliance.

• Maintain inspection records, rejection reports, and shift quality logs.

• Prepare internal rejection and scrap analysis reports.

• Review customer complaints and maintain CAPA documentation.

• Assist in maintaining ISO & IATF quality system requirements.

• Implement 5S & continuous improvement practices in the quality area.

• Conduct process audits and calibration monitoring for measuring instruments.

• Guide QC inspectors and train operators on quality standards.

• Coordinate with Production, Store, and Dispatch for quality approvals.

• Support improvement activities to reduce customer returns and rework.

• Understand customer specifications, drawings, and standards.

• Support in PPAP, sample development, and validation testing.

• Handle quality issues during dispatch and customer feedback follow-ups.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of rubber molding, defects, and inspection standards.

• Familiar with QC tools (7QC Tools, Pareto, Fishbone, Control Charts).

• Good communication & leadership skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and documentation practices.

• Ability to manage manpower and shift quality activities.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / BE in Rubber / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering OR B.Sc. Chemistry / Polymer

• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control in rubber or manufacturing industry.

Salary Range:

₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on skills and experience)

Work Timings: As per factory shift schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,813.78 - ₹35,471.70 per month
