Job Description

The Opportunity

Quality Engineer (Automation)

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain

    Katalon Studio suites

    for Web and API (REST/SOAP).
  • Implement modular automation frameworks (POM, data factories), robust assertions, and effective test data strategies.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QA leads for defect triage and quality gates.
  • Provide clear dashboards, coverage reports, and test evidence to support release readiness.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on test automation with

    Katalon Studio (Web & API)

    .
  • Strong scripting with

    Groovy/Java

    and proficiency with Git workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Test management exposure with

    Jira/Xray

    or

    Azure DevOps

    .
  • Solid knowledge of

    HTTP, JSON/XML, and SQL

    .

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Mobile automation using

    Katalon + Appium

    .
  • Reporting/analytics with

    Katalon TestOps

    or

    Allure

    .
  • Experience with

    BDD/Gherkin

    , service virtualisation, or basic performance testing (k6, JMeter).
  • Background in enterprise domains (banking, retail, logistics, government).
