Role Overview

Prasa Infocom is looking for a meticulous and process-driven Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities at our Production Unit.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all modular/edge DC components, assemblies, and finished units meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

You will work closely with production, design, and project teams to monitor quality, implement controls, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of Edge DC modules (prefabricated containers), electrical panels, mechanical assemblies, and structural components.
• Review and ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Implement QC processes, SOPs, and inspection checklists for production lines.
• Perform testing for electrical, mechanical, and environmental parameters (as applicable).
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients and internal teams
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety norms, and quality guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related engineering fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC within datacenters, modular DC, prefabricated container manufacturing, MEP, electrical panel manufacturing, or industrial production
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, QC tools, and inspection techniques.
• Experience in FAT, testing, and assembly line quality checks.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (9001/14001/45001) preferred.
