Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) to oversee and ensure the quality of electrical works in our utility-scale solar power plant construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality standards, inspections, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists for all electrical works related to solar plant construction.
• Monitor and inspect electrical installations, including modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA systems, earthing, and cabling works.
• Site Inward inspection ie., Transformers, HV & LV Panels, etc.,
• Review and approve Material Test Certificates (MTC), RMTC, FAT, and SAT for electrical equipment.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, IS/IEC/relevant standard requirements.
• Identify and report Non-Conformances (NCs), issue NCRs as required and ensure timely closure.
• Candidate shall be well versed in pre-commissioning, testing & commissioning of plant.
• Ensure safety and quality culture at site in line with company and industry best practices.

• Strong technical knowledge in solar electrical works.
• Ability to provide technical recommendations on closure of NCs & Observations independently.

Requirements:

• BE/B Tech. in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 609 years of experience, with at least 5 years in QA/QC Electrical for solar/power projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV plant electrical systems & relevant codes (IS, IEC).
• Familiarity with inspection methodologies, and NABL testing.
• Excellent communication & documentation skills.
• Require good knowledge on MS-Office for Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting.
