Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to oversee and ensure the quality of civil works in our utility-scale solar power plant construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality standards, inspections, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists for all Civil works related to solar plant construction.
• Monitor and inspect civil & electrical installations, including concrete foundations, modules, earthing, and cabling works.
• Site Inward inspection of concrete raw materials, etc.,
• Review and approve Material Test Certificates (MTC), RMTC of structural components.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, IS/IEC/relevant standard requirements.
• Identify and report Non-Conformances (NCs), issue NCRs as required and ensure timely closure.
• Candidate shall be well versed in concrete material testing, Operations of batching plant.
• Ensure quality culture at site in line with company and industry best practices.

Key Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge in solar civil works.
• Ability to provide technical recommendations on closure of NCs & Observations independently.
• Must have basic electrical activity knowledge to attend the RFIs if needed.
• Good coordination skills with EPC contractors and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to quality.

Requirements:

• BE/B Tech. in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 609 years of experience, with at least 5 years in QA/QC Civil for solar/power projects.
• Strong knowledge on concrete material testing wrt. relevant codes.
• Familiarity with inspection methodologies, and NABL testing.
• Excellent communication & documentation skills.
• Require good knowledge of MS-Office for Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting.
