Job Description

Quality Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality plans & safety standards at site.
Conduct inspection of fabricated & erected structures, conveyors, crushers, chutes, equipment and assemblies.
Maintain QAP, ITP, WPS & all QA documentation.
Maintain NCR (Non-conformance Report) log and drive closure.
Coordinate with client / consultants for site inspections & approvals.
Ensure material quality checks, calibration records and traceability.

Planning Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor project schedule, weekly & monthly progress reports.
Track material requirement vs. availability, erection progress & manpower deployment.
Prepare DPR / MIS / BOQ updates for management review.
Coordinate with Project, Procurement & Client teams for timely execution.
Identify delays or risks and provide mitigation action plans.
Support billing team with progress measurement and quantity confirmation.

Requirements

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
4 7 years of experience in
CHP / Material Handling / Thermal Power Plant projects
.
Strong understanding of quality standards, project documentation & erection activities.
Proficiency in
planning tools (MS-Project / Excel) and Quality documentation
.
Experience in conveyor erection, structural installation, chute fabrication, crusher installation & equipment alignment.
Good communication and client-coordination skills.
