Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day store operations at the power plant site, specifically for Coal Handling System equipment and spares. Handle receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials and consumables. Maintain inventory records , stock registers, GRNs, and material issue notes using ERP/Excel. Ensure proper documentation and safe storage of high-value mechanical, electrical, and structural items. Coordinate with the site execution team , procurement, and HO for material requirements and stock replenishment. Conduct stock audits , physical verification, and ensure zero pilferage and compliance with company SOPs. Monitor minimum stock levels , material shelf life, and storage conditions as per project needs. Manage incoming and outgoing logistics and support timely movement of critical components. Key Skills: Inventory Management Material Handling (Mechanical/Electrical/CHP equipment) ERP / MS Excel proficiency Store Documentation & Reporting Coordination with Project & Procurement Teams Stock Reconciliation Logistics & Dispatch Management Familiarity with power plant components and coal handling system
