Quality Control Officer

Performing Microbiological Testing: Conducting routine and specialized tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to detect microorganisms and assess their presence, type, and quantity.  Maintaining Laboratory Equipment: Ensuring proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of all laboratory equipment used for microbiological testing.  Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of testing results, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant regulations.  Supporting Investigations: Participating in investigations related to non-conforming results, troubleshooting laboratory issues, and assisting in the development and validation of microbiological methods.  Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant regulations and guidelines.  Contributing to Quality Culture: Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of quality control procedures, and promoting a culture of quality within the organization. Investigate Non Conformances and actively lead subsequent corrective actions as required.   Perform Basic Microbial identification: May perform acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media. Carry out microbiology analysis including Total Viable Count (TVC), sterility and Endotoxin testing as required. Carry out environmental monitoring including Viable particles monitoring in manufacturing facilities. Carry out analytical testing including pH, Conductivity as required. Participate in the technical transfer / validation of microbiological and analytical testing procedures. Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results as required.
