Job Title: QA Functional Tester

Position Overview:

QA Functional Tester

and cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and quality of our software

applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve

issues, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based

on functional requirements and technical specifications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to identify

defects and ensure software quality.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to

understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.

• Identify, record, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely

resolution.

• Analyze test results and report findings to the development team, providing

recommendations for improvement.

• Participate in design and code reviews to provide a QA perspective.
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes and standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and software testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA functional testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
