Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing tests to identify bugs and improve performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and cases Perform manual and/or automated testing of web/mobile applications Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure issues are resolved and releases meet quality standards Conduct regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testingCreate and maintain test documentation and reports Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and practices Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint testing activities Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field [1–3] years of experience in software testing or QA Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira) Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress) is a plus Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Preferred Skills Experience with API testing Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools Knowledge of performance and security testing ISTQB certification or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: Ludhiana, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: QA/QC: 1 year (Required) Location: Ludhiana, Punjab (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 15/06/2025 Expected Start Date: 15/06/2025
