Role:

Senior Automation Tester

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  for web and API testing.
• Write and execute

  automation scripts

  to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage across all new features and bug fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  for continuous validation.
• Conduct

  regression, smoke, performance, and integration testing

  using automation tools.
• Analyse test results, log defects, and track them to closure.
• Provide

  mentorship

  to junior testers in best practices for automation.
• Ensure adherence to quality engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest automation tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Pre-requisites:

• 3+ years of proven experience in

  automation testing

  .
• Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks such as

  Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium

  .
• Hands-on experience in scripting with

  Java, JavaScript, or Python

  for test automation.
• Solid understanding of

  API testing

  (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and tools like Swagger.
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and version control systems like

  Git

  .
• Familiarity with

  BDD frameworks

  such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test design techniques, and Agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of

  performance testing tools

  (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
