Role Description

We’re seeking a skilled and self-driven QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of our automated testing initiatives and elevate our software quality standards. This role demands a sharp analytical mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to work seamlessly across both frontend and backend systems.

You’ll be instrumental in designing and maintaining Selenium-based test suites, identifying gaps in coverage, documenting issues thoroughly, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to boost system reliability and defect transparency.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend platforms
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and document findings clearly
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Enhance test coverage, traceability, and defect visibility
• Support data validation to ensure consistent data quality across systems
• Advocate for and implement QA best practices across teams

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on Selenium automation
• Proficiency in scripting with Java, Python, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with API testing and working with large datasets
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
