Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - API Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python
• Create and execute API automation test cases to ensure quality and reliability of services
• Analyze test results and debug issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile environment
• Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to test planning and strategy
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, cases, and results
• Continuously improve automation processes and tools to increase efficiency
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Strong expertise in Robot Framework and Python scripting
• Proficiency in RESTful API automation and tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, or REST-assured)
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to performance or security testing
• Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave
