Job Description

Job Summary:

The Quality Analyst (QA) is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of transactional processes within various Finance functions. The QA ensures adherence to client-specific SLAs, compliance requirements, internal quality standards, driving process excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Perform regular quality audits of AP/AR transactions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, cash applications, billing, and collections.
  • Review samples of processed transactions against defined quality checklists and SOPs.
  • Identify process gaps, errors, and non-compliance issues; document findings and provide feedback to team leads and agents.
  • Track and report quality scores, trends, and defect rates for assigned processes.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Analyze recurring errors and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Partner with process leads to update SOPs and training materials based on audit outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, internal controls, and company policies (e.g., SOX, GAAP, data privacy).
  • Participate in calibration sessions to align audit standards across teams and clients.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management and clients.
  • Communicate audit results effectively with stakeholders.
  • Support performance reviews with data-driven insights and recommendations.

Training & Development

  • Conduct refresher sessions for team members based on audit findings.
  • Mentor associates to improve accuracy, compliance, and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Operation Finance processes within a BPO or shared services setup.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality or audit role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor management, payment cycles, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) and quality tools (Pareto, RCA, Six Sigma concepts).

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit procedure
