We specialize in the manufacturing of mustard de-oiled cake and refined oil. Our modern facility features a capacity of 500 TPD for De-Oiled Cake and 40 TPD for Crude Mustard Oil. What you will do.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mustard Seed Quality
  • Check oil content in seeds (minimum 38–40%).
  • Ensure moisture is not more than 7–8%.
  • Inspect for cleanliness – less dust, impurities, or damaged seeds.
  • Check seed size and boldness for better oil yield and pungency.
2. Mustard Oil Quality
  • Ensure oil has the right pungency, aroma, and color.
  • Test oil for Free Fatty Acid (FFA), acid value, and peroxide value.
  • Confirm oil meets FSSAI standards for edible oil.
  • Maintain hygiene during storage and packaging.
3. Mustard Cake (By-product) Quality
  • Check residual oil % (should not be more than 7–8%).
  • Test protein and fiber content for cattle feed quality.
  • Monitor storage conditions to avoid fungus, smell, or spoilage.
4. Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain daily lab records and reports.
  • Prepare quality certificates (COA) for each lot.
  • Share weekly quality reports with management.
5. Compliance & Improvement
  • Ensure all FSSAI and company standards are followed.
  • Suggest improvements in process and handling to increase oil recovery and maintain quality.
  • Train plant staff on quality and hygiene.
What we are looking for.
  • Strong understanding of mustard seed quality parameters, including oil content, moisture, cleanliness, seed size, and boldness
  • Hands-on knowledge of edible oil quality testing, including FFA, acid value, peroxide value, aroma, pungency, and color assessment
  • Ability to evaluate mustard cake quality for residual oil, protein, fiber, and safe storage conditions
  • Sound knowledge of FSSAI standards and edible oil regulations
  • Ability to ensure 100% compliance with food safety and quality requirements
  • High attention to detail and consistency in testing and reporting
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability
  • Ability to work independently in a plant-based, fast-paced environment
