About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA / Testing Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. At Ideen, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-driven and enterprise applications.

You will play a critical role in designing test strategies, executing test plans, automating test cases, and validating integrations (including Generative AI workflows). This role requires strong knowledge of Selenium, PyTest, Jest, and API testing tools to deliver bug-free, high-performing products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Perform API testing for backend and frontend integrations.
• Use tools like Selenium, PyTest, Jest (or similar frameworks) for automation.
• Validate GenAI workflows and ensure correctness of AI-driven outputs.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and cross-browser / device testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD test automation pipelines for faster delivery.
• Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and reliability standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automated).
• Proficiency in Selenium, PyTest, Jest, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, etc.).
• Experience writing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative workflows.

Preferred Skills (Plus Points)

• Experience testing Generative AI applications (OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of security testing practices.

Pay Range

₹6,00,000 – ₹10,00,000 per annum (CTC) (for mid-level candidates with 3+ years of experience).
