QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. They will implement and monitor quality assurance and control systems, conduct inspections, prepare reports, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site as per company standards and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process construction activities, and final finished works.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and method statements.
• Monitor all QA/QC activities on the project site to ensure adherence to approved specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s inspectors and client representatives for quality-related matters.
• Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) for deviations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain complete documentation of quality control inspections, test results, and NCRs for audit and project records.
• Provide training and guidance to site execution teams regarding quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure implementation of safety, health, and environmental standards during QA/QC inspections.
• Assist in internal and external audits and implement recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, codes, materials testing, and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems is an advantage.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant QA/QC software tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
