QA Testing Internship in Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user scenarios.Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.Take ownership of issues from discovery to resolution, driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.Develop a deep understanding of the product to identify edge cases, potential issues, and usability improvements.Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide early feedback from a QA perspective.Clearly communicate findings, risks, and QA status to developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and documentation.Working in Agile or Scrum environments.Utilize best QA practices in web and/or mobile applications.

Qualifications

Proficient with JIRA and other defect tracking tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work closely with developers and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ownership and initiative in identifying and resolving issues independently.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Passion for product quality and user experience.
