QA Tester

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Manual Tester to join our team at Primocys. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. Your expertise in manual testing will help identify and resolve issues before project releases, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review requirement and specification documents to understand application functionality.
• Conduct thorough manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure quality and performance.
• Perform cross-browser testing to validate application compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Identify and report design issues, ensuring developed applications align with client-provided design files.
• Utilize SQL for data verification and validation to maintain integration integrity.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test data, prioritizing testing activities.
• Log defects, define their severity and priority, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes to ensure stability.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and strategies for continuous improvement.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently manage multiple projects.
• Maintain a strong commitment to product quality and user experience.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with White Box, Black Box, and Grey Box testing techniques.
• Experience with various QA testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in cross-browser testing to ensure consistent functionality and design.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good understanding of different functional testing methods such as smoke testing, performance testing, load testing, security testing, API testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical details to development teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Around 2 years in software quality assurance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a QA Analyst/Tester.
