Job Description

THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

QA Manual Tester IV

Primary Skills

Web application testing
(manual functional and regression testing)
API and REST API testing
using tools such as
Postman
or
Bruno
UI automation
basics using
Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Strong understanding of
testing methodologies
, defect tracking, and reporting

Secondary Skills

Performance testing
using tools like
JMeter
or
BlazeMeter
Exposure to
mobile application testing
Familiarity with
AI-based testing tools
or frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience
Proven experience in
manual testing
of web and API-based applications
Familiarity with
API automation
using
RestAssured (Java)
is a plus
Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills
Strong collaboration skills in
Agile development environments

Responsibilities

Perform
manual testing
of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality.
Conduct
manual API testing
to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services.
Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed
test plans and test cases
.
Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution.
Utilize
Postman/Bruno
for API testing and validation.
Provide
regular testing progress updates
and communicate critical issues effectively.
Assist in
UI automation testing
(Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
Support
API automation
initiatives using
RestAssured (Java)
.
