QA Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Automation and Manual Test Engineer to join our dynamic QA team. This role demands a proactive professional who is deeply committed to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. Key Responsibilities:Automated Test Development Actively participate in Test-Driven Development (TDD) during refinement and development phases. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Gherkin syntax and TypeScript . Document bugs and issues clearly, providing reproducible steps and detailed problem descriptions. Monitor CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps . Utilize Azure Application Insights for application monitoring and telemetry analysis. Collaborate with developers to diagnose issues , analyze root causes, and drive resolutions. Manual Testing Design and execute exploratory manual testing strategies to ensure product stability. Perform manual testing with hardware , when required. Create and manage change requests , log bugs, and conduct root cause analysis. Cross-functional Collaboration & Quality Advocacy Engage in cross-functional collaboration (e.g., “Three Amigos”) involving developers and product owners. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Promote a culture of quality by proactively identifying and addressing issues before deployment. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or a related field. 8+ years of experience in manual and automation testing . Expertise in: Gherkin syntax TypeScript TDD (Test-Driven Development) Strong experience with: Azure DevOps pipelines CI/CD workflows Azure Application Insights Proficient in troubleshooting, defect reporting, and resolution workflows. Previous experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in SaaS environments is a plus. Exposure to hearing aid or medical software projects is desirable.
