QA Intern

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with the QA and development teams to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, learn about industry best practices, and enhance your technical skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and execution of test cases, both manual and automated. Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing for software products. Document and track defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira or similar platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management) to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to team discussions about testing approaches. Learn and apply automated testing techniques to streamline test cycles. Assist in the preparation of testing reports, detailing progress, results, and issues. Provide feedback and suggest improvements based on testing experiences. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software quality assurance. Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of programming languages (such as Java, Python, etc.) is a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills : Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium or similar. Exposure to version control systems like Git. Prior experience in QA (internships or personal projects) is a plus.
