QA Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in manual testing and a solid understanding of software development life cycles and software testing life cycle. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: ⁠ ⁠ Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans. ⁠ ⁠Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software applications. ⁠ ⁠Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback. ⁠ ⁠Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new developments. ⁠ ⁠Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results. ⁠ ⁠Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications: ⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ⁠ ⁠1–2 years of experience in manual software testing. ⁠ Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar. ⁠ ⁠Understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies. ⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ⁠ ⁠Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: ⁠ ⁠ Basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium. ⁠ ⁠Experience with API testing . ⁠ ⁠ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
