QA Engineer / Tester for Web and Mobile App Platform

Location: Coimbatore (Remote/Onsite as needed)

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer / Tester to ensure the quality and stability of our web and mobile app platform. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, executing manual and automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end), identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with the development team to deliver a robust, bug-free application. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing web and mobile app features. 
• Perform manual and automated testing, including unit, integration, system, and end-to-end tests. 
• Identify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues using appropriate tracking tools. 
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. 
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective. 
• Execute regression testing to ensure new releases do not negatively impact existing functionality. 
• Analyze test results, report on quality metrics, and recommend process improvements. 
• Contribute to the selection and implementation of QA tools and automation frameworks. 
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Tester, or similar role, preferably with SaaS web and mobile app applications. 
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• Experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Mocha). 
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). 
• Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus. 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
