Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of web and mobile applications through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless and bug-free user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate new features, bug fixes, and deployments before releases.
• Review and contribute to project requirements and specifications to ensure testability.
• Conduct testing across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure compatibility.
• Work on test automation using tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Understand and apply best practices in QA processes and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.
• Familiarity with APIs and web services testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser dev tools.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver (preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
