The Position:

QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests for web-based game frontends using

  Playwright

  . 
• Automate and validate API workflows (game sessions, round results, balance updates). 
• Verify backend outcomes such as transaction logs and data integrity. 
• Write and manage clear, maintainable manual and automated test cases. 
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers from planning through release. 
• Log, track, retest, and verify issues to resolution. 
• Contribute ideas to improve QA tools, processes, and coverage. 

Desired Experience

• 4+ years in QA with proven

  automation testing

  experience. 
• Hands-on experience with

  UI automation frameworks

  (Playwright preferred; Cypress, Selenium, or similar also considered). 
• Proficiency in

  TypeScript

  or JavaScript for automation scripting. 
• Strong understanding of

  REST APIs

  and tools such as Postman or REST-assured. 
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, and version control tools like Bitbucket. 
• Solid grasp of Agile workflows and sprint-based testing. 

Nice to Have

• Experience testing

  real-money slot games

  or in the iGaming/gambling industry. 
• Exposure to

  RNG testing, game math validation

  , or RTP simulations. 
• Performance/load testing experience. 
• ISTQB or ISEB certification. 

The ideal candidate will

• Have a solid background in automation testing. 
• Be able to work under pressure. 
• Have willingness to learn and have a ‘can do’ attitude. 
• Have strong English writing skills. 
• Inquisitive, willing to learn and ability to learn quickly.
