QA Automation Engineer (3–6 years)

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
• Automate web, mobile, API, and backend workflows using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, or similar
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
• Perform root cause analysis for automation failures and maintain test suites
• Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and clients to define acceptance criteria and ensure automation coverage
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation
• Work on multiple client projects in Agile environments across domains

Must-Have Skills:

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing
• Strong programming skills in

  Java, Python, JavaScript and Typescript

  (at least one is mandatory)
• Experience in building frameworks using

  Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium / WebdriverIO

• Solid understanding of API automation using

  RestAssured, Postman, or similar

• Hands-on experience with

  Git

  , branching strategies, and test result reporting
• Experience integrating tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
• Exposure to AI-driven test optimization or self-healing test strategies
• Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest
• Previous client-facing experience or working with global teams
