QA Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like

  Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit

  .
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, and API testing

  for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
  
• Develop and maintain

  test automation frameworks

  for scalability and reusability.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and track them using

  JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools

  .
• Work closely with manual QA engineers to enhance test coverage and ensure high product quality.
  
• Generate detailed

  test reports

  and maintain documentation of test processes.
• Ensure automation best practices are followed and continuously improve testing efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in

  Selenium / Cypress / Playwright

  automation.
• Proficiency in

  Java / Python / JavaScript / C#

  for writing automated scripts.
• Knowledge of

  REST API testing

  (Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  (Git, GitHub).
• Understanding of

  Agile / Scrum methodologies

  .
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with

  performance testing tools

  (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to

  cloud-based testing

  (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of

  BDD frameworks

  like Cucumber or Behave.
• Familiarity with

  mobile testing tools

  (Appium).
