Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python & Splunk Scripting Developer with hands-on experience in automation, data analysis, and dashboard development. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python scripting, Splunk SPL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) to build, automate, and visualize operational and business data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, and system integration.

• Write and optimize Splunk SPL queries for log analysis, monitoring, alerts, and reporting.

• Design and maintain Splunk dashboards and visualizations.

• Integrate Python scripts with Splunk using APIs and SDKs.

• Develop and enhance UI components using HTML and CSS for dashboards and internal tools.

• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance of scripts and queries.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Operations teams to meet monitoring and reporting needs.

• Document scripts, dashboards, and technical workflows.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python scripting

• Hands-on experience with Splunk SPL (Search Processing Language)

• Experience creating Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with REST APIs and data formats (JSON, XML)

• Good understanding of log management and monitoring concepts

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Good to Have:

• Experience with JavaScript for advanced dashboard customization

• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Jenkins)

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity or SIEM concepts

• Experience with automation frameworks or scheduling tools

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
