Who Are We Looking For?

Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement workflows using

    Apache Airflow

    to replace existing 3rd-party RPA modules.
  • Develop and optimize

    Python scripts

    for automation and integration with Airflow pipelines.
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale Airflow workflows using

    Azure Cloud services

    .
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand current systems, dependencies, and objectives.
  • Migrate critical insurance processes like

    Auto, Package, Work Order Processing, and Policy Renewals

    for Commercial Insurance (CI), Major Accounts, and Middle Market LOBs.
  • Ensure

    accuracy, efficiency, and scalability

    of workflows post-migration.
  • Conduct

    unit testing

    , debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Document workflows, configurations, and technical designs for knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in Python and Airflow development.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong Python programming skills

    – for API development, scripting, data transformation, automation, and database interaction.
  • Hands-on experience with

    Apache Airflow

    – workflow orchestration and DAG development.
  • Proficiency with

    Azure Cloud services

    , such as:
  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure DevOps

  • Azure Blob/Storage

  • Experience migrating legacy systems or 3rd-party RPA modules to modern workflow automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of

    database concepts and interaction

    (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with insurance domain processes is a plus.
