About the Role

Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize

  OCR-based data extraction pipelines

  using Python.
• Implement and fine-tune models leveraging libraries like

  Tesseract

  ,

  EasyOCR

  ,

  OpenCV

  , or

  PaddleOCR

  .
• Build and maintain

  data preprocessing

  ,

  feature extraction

  , and

  document parsing

  workflows.
• Integrate OCR systems with internal APIs and databases for automated data flow.
• Work with

  machine learning models

  to improve text recognition accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct performance testing, error analysis, and continuous optimization of extraction models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience

  in Python development.
• Proven expertise in

  OCR technologies

  (e.g., Tesseract, OpenCV, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR).
• Experience with

  NLP and text analytics frameworks

  (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Transformers) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of

  computer vision concepts

  ,

  image preprocessing

  , and

  deep learning

  .
• Familiarity with

  TensorFlow

  ,

  PyTorch

  , or similar ML frameworks.
• Experience integrating models into

  production environments

  (REST APIs, Flask/FastAPI, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  document layout analysis

  ,

  PDF parsing

  , and

  handwritten text recognition (HTR)

  .
• Exposure to

  cloud-based AI services

  (AWS Textract, Google Vision, Azure Form Recognizer).
• Knowledge of
