Job Description

  • Reviewing and processing purchase orders.
  • Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Communicating with suppliers, employees and management to align with company procurement strategies.
  • Researching and identifying potential suppliers based on the project requirements.
  • Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness of the procurement process.
  • Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of each projects procurement requirements.
  • Regularly reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and suppliers.
  • Performing risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Experience in conducting negotiating and managing contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.
  • Experience with SAP with be plus
  • Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Professional certification in Procurement or Inventory Management is a plus.
