Position-

Qualification- B.tech/M.tech/ or similar relevant fields

Experience- 08 to 15 Years

Annual Package: 07 Lacs to 11 Lacs p.a.

Location: Ajmer (Rajasthan)

1)Must have experience in purchase of steel purchase related to fabrication.

2)Must have experience in purchase of Mechanical items, Raw material related to fabrication and also purchased commodities like Angles, Channels, MS sheet, Girders, welding related equipments & electrical items as well.

3)Compare proposals for price and specifications

4)Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs & review contract specifications on behalf of the company

5)Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion

and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers

6)Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials

7)Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency & to prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports

8)Develops, implements, and maintains a commodity inventory strategy that supports a company's supply chain & Ensure cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement plan whilst ensuring quality control and compliance with the Company's policies

9)Evaluates market conditions in order to maintain inventory levels and control costs.

10)Evaluates and recommends vendors & vendor Development

11)Manages ongoing relationships with suppliers & keep abreast of changing industry trends

12)Follow proper channel or system for smooth functioning of Purchase Department

13)Create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry & building long-term relationships with vendors in the industry

14)New Vendor Development for purchasing best quality items with minimum cost.

15)Work based software knowledge of ERP,SAP.

16) Negotiate best prices, credit terms, and delivery conditions.

17) Develop and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality.

18) Monitor purchase budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.

19) Minimize stock obsolescence and ensure proper material planning through ERP/MRP systems.

20) Collaborate with production, quality, finance, and logistics teams for smooth operations.

21) Prepare MIS reports on procurement status, cost savings, vendor performance, etc.

22) Participate in management review meetings and strategic planning sessions.

23) Plan, organize, and manage the overall procurement activities for raw materials, consumables, tools, and capital goods.

24) Issue purchase orders in line with production and project requirements.

25) Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials to avoid production downtime.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of procurement procedures and supply chain management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, etc.)
• Leadership, communication, and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of taxation, import/export procedures, and government regulations (if applicable)
