Purchasing Executive

As a Purchase Executive at our leading Pharma Manufacturing client in Mahemdavad, Gujarat, India, you will play a crucial role in procurement operations. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field, along with 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as USFDA, EUGMP, WHO, and ICH. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing existing contracts to uphold quality standards, creating purchase orders, and coordinating timely delivery of goods. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like PPMC, Production, Warehouse, and Quality Control will be essential to align specifications and expectations. You will be instrumental in maintaining adherence to procurement policies, regulatory compliance, and quality control measures. Your role will involve monitoring and forecasting demand for raw materials and packaging supplies, contributing to budgeting and costing activities, and fostering strong relationships with vendors. Timely availability of purchase-related reports and data, including inventory levels and supplier performance metrics, will be crucial to your success. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of inventory and supply chain management, particularly in the generics pharmaceutical sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Pharma Cloud software will be beneficial in executing your duties effectively.
