Job Description

As a Purchase Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, monitoring stock levels, and liaising with vendors to ensure smooth operations. With 3-4 years of experience in purchase or supply chain management, you will utilize your strong negotiation skills to effectively carry out your duties. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, researching and shortlisting potential vendors, tracking orders, conducting market research, negotiating pricing with vendors, preparing cost analyses, maintaining records of invoices and contracts, following up with suppliers, and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure product quality upon arrival. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, along with experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management. Your strong negotiation and vendor management skills, proficiency in MS Office & data management tools, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities will be key to your success in this role.
