Job Description

As a Purchase Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for interior fit-out projects. Your expertise in procurement operations and vendor management, along with proficiency in utilizing ERP systems, will be instrumental in optimizing purchasing processes. - Procurement Planning: - Plan and forecast material requirements based on project schedules and budgets. - Coordinate with project managers, designers, and engineers to ensure timely availability of materials. - Vendor Management: - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for high-quality materials and services. - Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing. - Purchase Operations: - Prepare purchase orders, request quotations, and conduct price negotiations. - Ensure procurement is cost-effective while adhering to quality standards and delivery timelines. - Inventory Management: - Monitor stock levels and maintain an optimal inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking. - Coordinate with the stores team to track and manage material movement. - ERP System Management: - Use ERP software to streamline procurement processes, including purchase order creation, supplier invoicing, and tracking. - Generate reports from the ERP system to provide insights on procurement costs, vendor performance, and inventory levels. - Compliance & Documentation: - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. - Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes. - Cost Control: - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses. - Regularly review market trends to benchmark costs and negotiate effectively. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Interior Fitouts or construction industry. - Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or other procurement software). - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. - Knowledge of materials and equipment used in interior fitout projects. You will be joining a company as a permanent employee, and the work location is in person.,
