Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Officer with strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical machinery parts purchasing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of evaluating vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement of quality parts for production machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for machinery parts (mechanical/electrical).
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost-effective procurement.
Maintain and update purchase records, reports, and pricing details.
Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to understand requirements and specifications.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.

Required Skills Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing machinery parts in a manufacturing/food processing industry .
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components used in industrial machinery.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software/tools.
Good communication and analytical skills.

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).This job is provided by Shine.com
