Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all purchase activities for raw materials, components, consumables, and services.
• Conduct vendor research, identify new suppliers, and evaluate their capabilities.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate for best pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Coordinate with the production and quality team for material specifications and approvals.
• Conduct quality checks for incoming materials and ensure compliance with standards.
• Handle purchase entries and maintain accurate records in the company software.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock without over-purchasing.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor payments.
• Prepare and maintain purchase reports, price lists, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement and cost-saving initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement or purchase roles (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing and negotiation.
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi optional.
• Basic understanding of quality parameters for metal and industrial products (added advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchase/inventory software.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
